The sheep and goats were present in an outdoor pen that did not have adequate space for the animals. Enclosures must provide sufficient space to allow each animal to make normal postural and social adjustments with adequate freedom of movement. Inadequate space may lead to malnutrition, poor condition, debility, stress, or abnormal behavior patterns. The facility must provide the animals with enclosures that provide adequate space. The licensee stated the animals would be moved to a suitable enclosure that same day. This inspection and exit interview were conducted with the licensee.
