Storage ***One open forty pound bag of dry dog food was stored in the licensee’s SUV. Another open forty pound bag of dry dog food was stored on the floor by the meat freezer and the kibble was damp and deteriorated. Improper storage can result in unwholesome food that can cause dietary deficiencies and foodborne illnesses. Compromised food must be discarded and all wholesome food must be appropriately stored to protect against deterioration, contamination and molding. Correct from this day forward.
