The food inside 3 of the metal self-feeders, affecting 6 dogs, contains several bugs. When the inspectors lifted the lid off of the self-feeder the bugs were seen crawling on and through the food. These bugs could contaminate the food. When questioned by the inspector as to how often the self- feeders are cleaned and refilled, she replied that it "was last cleaned about 4-5 weeks ago" and she refills the feeders "about once a week". The licensee must discard the contaminated food in the affected self-feeders and ensure that all food given to the dogs is uncontaminated, wholesome, palatable, and of sufficient quantity and nutritive value. To be corrected by: August 20, 2015. Veterinary care for dog 0A01341025 from the 2/5/2015 report has been addressed. Inspection and exit interview was conducted with facility representative, Chad Proctor ACI, Stephanie Osborne ACI. Additional Inspectors Osborne Stephanie, Animal Care Inspector
