The program of veterinary care establishes guidelines for preventative medicine, husbandry, and veterinary care that are vital for protecting the health and wellbeing of the dogs. Each dealer must follow an appropriate program of veterinary care for dogs that is developed, documented in writing, and signed by the attending veterinarian and must keep and maintain the written program and make it available for inspection.
